Rise above the negation of yesterday - A Simple Affirmation

I know that every negative condition of the past is swept aside. I refuse to see it or to think about it.

Yesterday is no longer here, tomorrow has not yet arrived. Today, is God's day. God's day is my day!

Today, bright with hope and filled with promise is mine. Today my heart is without fear.

I have implicit confidence in the good, the enduring and the true. Today I shall guard my thought and speech; I will keep consciousness steadfast with the relation that there is a spiritual power upon which I may rely.

There is no confusion to that spiritual center which knows no fear! My spirit is not afraid of anything!  The divine has no enemies. My spirit knows no opposites!

I enter into a faith made perfect through love and confidence, an assurance made complete by the abandonment of myself to good.  Acknowledging good in all the ways , desiring only the good for others I rest in calm assurance.

I believe in myself because I believe in God! I believe in my destiny because I know that the law of God is operating through me.

I have confidence in the future and enthusiastic expectations of good things to come.

The Only Enemy To Have Ever Existed Is An Eternal One. - Part I

There is something about yourself that you don’t know. Something that you will deny even exists until it’s too late to do anything about it. It’s the only reason you get up in the morning. The only reason you suffer to the hands of that shitty boss or unhealthy relationship. All though blood, sweat, and the tears. This is because you want people to know how good, attractive, generous, funny, wild, and clever you really are. Fear or revere me, but please think I’m special.

We share an addiction. We’re approval junkies. We’re all in it for the slap on the back, record breaking numbers of views, likes and retweets. Look at the King/Queen polishing his/her trophy! Shine on, you crazy diamond, because we’re just monkeys wrapped in suits, begging for the approval of others. If we knew this, we wouldn’t do this. Someone is hiding it from us, and if you had a second chance you would ask, why?”

Envy is the religion of the mediocre. It comforts most of us, it soothes our worries, and finally it rots our very souls, allowing us to justify the meanness and our greed until we believe these to be virtues.

Such people are convinced that the doors of heaven will be opened only to poor wretches like themselves who go through life without leaving any trace but their threadbare attempts to belittle others and to exclude - and destroy if possible - those who, by the simple fact of their existence, show up their own poorness of spirit, mind, and guts. Blessed be the one at whom the fools bark, because his soul will never belong to them.

Nice and slowly, beauty is a destructive angel. How could anything that looks so good be so bad? But there is no angel as destructive as their greed. In the end, she gets them all. They think they can handle her… but greed is the only snake that cannot be tamed. 

 Greed gets them all in the end.

An Angel's Wish To You

Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes

Rainbows to follow the clouds when feeling gloom.   

Plenty of laughter to kiss your lips.  Sunsets to warm your heart to a loving bliss.

I wish you an abundance of beauty for your eyes to see.  A friendship to be there to brighten your being. 

I wish you Faith so that you will forever believe, Confidence whenever you are in doubt, Courage when weak and Patience when being deceived.

Most of all, I wish you love & happiness in every moment of your life. 

Extra Baggage? You know that is going to cost you right?!

If you are going to have baggage, then it should only be enough to fit in an overhead compartment!

Erykah Badu really hit the nail on the head when she released "Bag Lady"  The words were so profound for her to express that she kept repeating lines over and over as if she was branding the words in our brains. Some of the best lines were as follows:

Bag Lady, you gone hurt your back dragging all them bags like that.
I guess nobody ever told you, all you must hold onto is you.
One day all them bags gone get in your way.
Bag lady, you gonna miss your bus. You can't hurry up cause you got too much stuff.

 We have all been hurt one time or another by someone we loved, or thought we loved. Carrying negative feelings into future relationships will only prove to be disastrous. No two people are the same, so it's unfair to hold a future partner to a standard set by an ex.  Try to begin each new relationship with a clean slate.

TAKE CARE OF THE PERSON IN THE MIRROR FIRST!

Why do YOU feel the NEED TO make other people HAPPY?

Often times we find ourselves too busy trying to make other people happy that

we forget to make the most important person happy. YOU! We exhaust ourselves to appease other people

and hardly ever take time out to simply take care of our own personal selves. 

I know this may sound "selfish" but truth of the matter is, we have to be. If you take care of yourself, you

maintain your solid foundation. Our foundation needs to be solid to take care of your family, friends & loved

ones.  

  

A solid foundation can withstand the weight of the world, especially during those hard times and most of all, a solid foundation does not crack so easily. 

Let me turn it around for you if you still don't get the reason why YOU need to take care of yourself first

and make sure, you are happy. 

Do you feel down, tired, defeated, abused, underappreciated and/or depleted due to the fact that you have

put your all into someone and have received nothing in return. Your foundation make appear solid but in

fact, it is nothing more than sinking sand. Now, add your family, friends & loved ones to stand in your
sinking sand so they can slowly start to sink too. Due to the fact that your foundation is weak, any little thing
can penetrate you to break you down, hurt you and maybe even destroy you!

Let go of that NEED to make other people happy and start taking care of the person in the mirror first. Love & appreciate the person in the mirror and build a solid foundation together!
