From this time, unchained
We're all looking at a different picture through this new frame of mind
A thousand flowers could bloom
Move over and give us some room.
So don't you stop being a man.
Just take a little look from outside when you can
Show a little tenderness, no matter if you feel the need to cry
I learned my lesson, nobody is to blame except..well..maybe you
I learned my lesson, we're all trying to hide
Doing the best we can in order to survive
But some of us like to keep it simple
And then there are some of us that will deceive
We will tell half a story, so we can take the things we need
Some of our efforts are colorful
There are those that win and the others lose

A Lone Warriors Final Moments Before Love
He did everything right on their date. They conversed as if two poets were battling for the championship title. Every word carefully spoken, deep with substance and emotion that intertwined and danced in slow motion suspended in the cool night air. Silence became comfortable as they held each other in a warm embrace listening to each other's heartbeat beat in sync. It was at that moment in his arms she completely let go.
He looked into her eyes and saw the look of a tired and wounded warrior who spent a lifetime in battle surrendering in his embrace. The scars she bared spoke vividly of her victories and defeats. He felt the abundance of will, strength and purpose she had with each breath she took and was in awe of her.
The lone warrior's shield crashed to the ground. She embraced the weight she had once held in comfort relieve her body and allowed her spirit to be free. Her feet were suspended in air as reason to fight finally fell to a deafening silence. She raised the white flag for there was no more strength left in her to fight. She needed to rest and have trust in knowing that even though he has the ability to destroy her, he would never do as such. She slowly closed her eyes and just trusted.
He stared at her until his vision was blurred with tears as he understood what he was meant to do and pulled her in close to him. He held on to her as tight as he could as if he was trying to squeeze all the pain that she had endured and whispered in her ear "It's ok. I'm here. I will protect you. I will take care of you. I will love you."
As the sun submerged completely into the ocean, it flashed its' final light on two warriors weeping in each others arms experiencing the final moment of two lone warriors letting down their guards.
